In 2023 we reached a milestone in the history of our college: we added a co-educational Early Years section, to support parents in educating all their children under the same Mission: “to foster harmonious development as persons, in relation to oneself, to others, with God and with creation, through a quality education that promotes justice and peace, in an open-minded culture, within an environment of creativity and responsible freedom.” With the introduction of Kinder, Newman now has the opportunity to accompany the integral development of our students from an early age, with all the positive impact that this entails.
EDUCATIONAL PROJECT
The bilingual Newman Kinder programme is founded on a combination of carefully selected pedagogical principles, in order to offer a Comprehensive Education where disciplinary content is integrated alongside the acquisition and development of 21st-century competencies and skills.
It is very important for us to nurture and strengthen the partnership with families so that we may accompany the children in building shared values as an Educational Community. Within this framework — and with our students at the heart of everything — the Kinder proposal includes stimuli drawn from various pedagogical principles.
The Kindergarten building is part of our Masterplan — a project that reflects the evolution of our educational vision and supports the growth of our students from their earliest years, in spaces designed to foster curiosity, exploration, and active learning.

Extended Day with Optional Workshops
The workshops for K3 and K4 offer various experiences that complement the morning session. These are optional and may be organised in many formats: one-day projects, sequences of interlinked activities. The offerings include: Sports & Play · Healthy Habits · Drama & Storytelling · Arts & Crafts · STEAM Challenges · Exploring Nature · Hands-on Technology · Mindfulness.
BUILDING PROJECT
This innovative and challenging project features a modern building with flexible spaces designed to invite exploration and discovery, closely connected with the surrounding natural environment.

Profesora de Nivel Inicial, Claudia se ha desempeñó seis años como directora del Jardín de Infantes del St. Edward`s College, institución a la que ingresó en 2012. En su extensa trayectoria profesional también se destaca su sólida experiencia áulica en el Nivel Inicial de los Colegios Marin y Cardenal Pironio, entre otros.
La definen la pasión por la vocación, el liderazgo y el trabajo en equipo. Sus cualidades como profesional y ser humano son un gran aporte para Newman Kinder y para el acompañamiento junto a sus familias de nuestros Explorers, Adventurers y Creators.

The Newman Kinder project launched in 2023. It is a co-educational bilingual programme with K3, K4 and K5 classes.

Newman Kinder is located on the same campus as the Colegio Newman, on the Blanco Encalada side.
K3 and K4 run in the morning, with the option of staying on for afternoon workshops (Monday to Thursday). K5 is a full-day programme.
Siblings of current students, children of alumni and children of former students are given priority for places.
